Among the wings of SME Foundation, Technology Development Wing is one of the most promising wings. The core objectives of this wing include reducing/eliminating the technological gaps among SMEs in the national-international level and improving SME competitiveness. The path of attaining these goals are through helping SMEs in technology up-gradation, adoption and diffusion of new appropriate  technology of the thrust sectors, which had been identified through expert consultation meeting.
